성도들이 믿음과 권위를 가지고 믿음과 권위의 기도를 하기 위해 기도와 금식을 연결시킬 필요성을 깨달을 수 있도록 기도합시다(행 13:2-3, 행 14:23).

Acts 13:2-3—And as they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for Me now Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them. Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

행 14:23 — 그리고 그들은 각 교회에 장로들을 선택하여 세우고 금식하며 기도한 후, 그들이 믿은 주님께 장로들을 맡겼다.
